Where
can I use OmniTalk from?
You can use OmniTalk from anywhere on the planet that you can get
high-speed Internet access, regardless of the OmniTalk phone number(s)
you choose for your account. Quality of calls may vary depending
on the domestic or international networks traversed. We will ship
any OmniTalk Device to you anywhere FedEx or UPS will deliver. Click

From
what Area Codes can I get a OmniTalk number?
You can use OmniTalk from anywhere on the planet, regardless of
the phone number you choose for your account. We currently (4/1/2006)
offer OmniTalk phone numbers from most Area Codes in the US and
Canada, and we’ll be adding numbers from other countries soon (
UK, Argentina, Mexico, etc.). Click
here to see available area codes.

From
what Countries can I get a OmniTalk number? Will these virtual numbers
all ring on my OmniTalk device?
We will offer OmniTalk numbers from as many countries as we can.
UK, Argentina and Mexico are the first three we expect to have.
You may purchase as many virtual phone numbers as you wish, and
they will all forward to your primary OmniTalk phone number. Each
virtual number from U.S. and Canada is only $10.95 per month after
a $29.95 activation charge. Virtual numbers from other countries
may cost more depending upon our costs.

Do
you offer international calling plans?
OmniTalk offers very competitive international rates on all our
calling plans. Click here to
see the international rates section.

Can
I keep my current phone number with OmniTalk?
Yes, we offer Local Number Portability.

Does
it cost anything to transfer my current number to OmniTalk, and how
do I do that?
You’ll be charged a one-time fee of $25 to port any number to OmniTalk.
You need to print out and sign a Letter of Authorization (LOA) form,
and then send that in along with a copy of your last telephone bill.
We strongly suggest keeping one regular telephone line or a mobile
phone so that you can always dial 911 emergency services. If your
power goes out, your OmniTalk phone won’t work unless you have your
whole network on a UPS system (Uninterruptible Power Supply).

Will
I be listed in the telephone book if I switch to a OmniTalk number?
No. Telephone books do not list VoIP telephone numbers. However,
if you decide to port an existing number to our service, you will
have the option to maintain your current listing.

What
happens to my service and number if I move?
You can take your OmniTalk number with you wherever you move, even
to a different country!

Are
calls to the US Virgin Island (area code 340) or Puerto Rico (area
code 787) included in your unlimited plan?
These areas are considered international calls on the OmniTalk network.
Tariffs for rates to these areas can be found on the OmniTalk International
Rates section of the website.
